The Spring Equinox & on...

The promise of life to come, the scales of the Spring equinox tip back to light & life. The celandines golden petals open on the woodland floor, like a sun emblazoned cloak. Hares run the gauntlet of the fields in wild boxing contests, whilst above Rooks wheel over their castle like rookeries, raucously heralding the return of the Sun. Like Persephone rising from the underworld, released from deaths grip. The Goddess of life returns.

This vitality we aim to reflect in our Rites. Whilst the theme of Spring Equinox is the same as the years before, we all as Coven members add flavour to our Book of Shadows Rite enlivening it with the culture of the Craft as we know it. Our life experience, our understanding of the numinous of the Gods all play into what we do.

The Wheel has turned, the Rites are done the Horned Lord pipes the tune. The Goddess she has come.
