An evening lecture with Dr Julia Philips.
Early December saw Amanda & myself travel to Salisbury. We alighted at the Station as winter rains washed the streets. We were travelling to see an evening with Dr Julia Philips. The end of October saw us attend a book launch & soiree. The event being held & filmed at the Art Workers Guild in London, hosted and put together by Sharon Day & those at Rose Ankh publishing. Halloween-Samhain
Surely Halloween, Samhain is the Sabbat that most fires & enthuses the mind? Modern secular culture has adopted this Christian festival, secularised, popularised & somewhat monetised it. It does though seem to hark back to the Pagan past of Ireland, predating the Christian calendars Rite.
