Summer Solstice

The Sun rides high in the heavens, life leaps forth, flowers open to the solar orbs glare. Nature at large & our little garden thrum with the pulse of the season, as the Sun illumines all. It is a joy to be within nature, under that radiant crown in the heady days of mid Summer is such a blessing.

To be with those we love & work with in Circle, a magickal, microcosmic reflection of the world which creates. We too, as Witches create. Our sacred space, the Circle contains & encapsulates that magick. An enchanted place where we apprehend the divine numinous of our Gods, that we honour & love. To see each other poetically pull & work energy in the cosmic dance of the arte, that exhilaratingly unfurls before ones eyes with Ritual.

Our Rites are drawn from natures rhythms, our shared culture of the Wica, from our experiences, knowledge & dreams. Our Goddess, our Horned God charged by enthused ritual. In return we are recharged by this magickal earth & our magikal Circle.

The Sun God Helios rides high in his chariot. It has though for some of us been an emotionally fraught time, heartbreakingly effected by recent bereavement. Like life, our liturgy tells us the Sun will dip & tip unto the darkness. We know too that from the dark, divine dawn will come. The Sun will revivify & we will meet again.

Our Rites are filled with reverence & joy. They enhance & enchant & like the Sun on a cloudless day filling us with happiness.
