A long term project I have been working on is a Tarot Deck, The Tarot of the Sacred Path. This journey creating these cards began in 2017, it has been an ever progressing, winding way of learning and inspiration. Our Circle Rites within the Craft have enthused my mind and I believe made me more receptive to the Tarots imagery, which has lead me to create this deck. Some of the cards have been worked and reworked over that time, as layers of lore and visuals have inspired me.
I have always loved the Tarot with its mysterious, enigmatic, occult imagery that lure the viewer/reader in. The Tarot has been so influential within what is known as The Western Mystery Tradition, from which Wicca does draw some influence. The cards are gateways to Magick, an aid, for divination and connection to the Gods and ourselves. My cards do have a traditional feel and yet hopefully convey my Ritual experience within them, that can be appreciated and worked by any reader.
Currently I am nearing the end of the creative process, the last few cards i am working on and will need to spend a while adding any amendments. The finish is on the horizon and I hope for the finished deck to produced sometime this year.
